The "Ten Buck Truck" returns to Downtown Farmington's Sundquist Pavilion Tuesday, August 18 at 11:30 am. This week's theme is "Masks." What fun! Children 12 and under will love to make a craft project out of recycled industrial products. Participants can even go 'shopping' in the Ten Buck Truck at the end of the class. For more information on programs offered at Arts and Scraps visit their website at www.artsandscraps.com
This great FREE event is part of "Tuesdays in the Bag", a promotion that is encouraging Farmington to GO GREEN. Remember to use your "It's Happening" shopping bag tomorrow and receive special discounts and treats from participating merchants. Shopping bags are $1 and are available at the DDA office and many merchants in the Downtown. Come stroll Grand River Avenue and Farmington Road and take a look at the tremendous progress the Streetscape Project is making. Grab lunch, participate in Arts and Scraps, and do all of your shopping in Downtown Farmington.
A list of "Tuesdays in the Bag" participating merchants can be found at www.farmingtonstreetscape.org on the "Upcoming Events" page.
