It's Happening!

What fun we had today at the Pavilion!  Arts and Scraps rolled in the "Ten Buck Truck" and youngsters made insects out of foam, movie tickets, puzzle pieces, glitter, and other great materials!  Today's activity is part of "Tuesdays in the Bag", a summer long promotion in Downtown Farmington.  Every week special events and activities at the Pavilion will show us all how to be GREEN and more earth friendly.  Today, 38 kids learned how to take a bunch of scraps and turn it into ART.  Thanks to all who came to Downtown Farmington for a great day.

Arts and Scraps will be back to the Pavilion on July 7 and August 18.  For a complete list of summer "Tuesdays in the Bag" activities, please visit  www.farmingtonstreetscape.org

“It’s Happening”!

It is an exciting time in Farmington and your support and commitment to the Downtown are greatly appreciated.

Of course there will be orange barrels on Grand River, sidewalks will be closed temporarily, and dust will fly. However, Downtown Farmington remains open during this awesome remodeling Project!

Join us all summer for the many activities your Downtown has to offer. Spend a Friday evening listening to live music at Rhythmz in Riley Park, buy your fresh produce at the Farmers and Artisans Market, and come play in the streets during the Founders Festival.

Your continued support of the 160 Downtown Farmington merchants is greatly appreciated. Now is a great time to buy locally and show our businesses how much we love our Downtown.

Again, we thank you for your devotion to our community and to the Streetscape Project.  This website and blog will keep you informed of the Project and all of the Downtown "Happenings".
